Prio: a Pre&Pro-biotic Soda Startup
Hi, I'm Christopher Tiwari. I'm 29 years old, and the founder of Prio. Welcome to our website and thank you for visiting. It has been quite the journey from inception of idea to business plan, and now, hopefully to fundraising and launch. It all started with a question to a family member in June, 2024. I said, "do you want to start a probiotic soda company with me?" and they said, "i have a job, no, start your own company." And I did. Introducing Prio L.L.C.
Our Story
Prio is in the startup phase. We are past the inception of the idea. We have developed a prototype formula. We have a business plan. I have met with business advisors about funding. I have met with a custom beverage developer. We are making progress and making it fast. Our next steps are to meet health department requirements, finish developing the formula, make arrangements with a co-packer, and get a small batch of these cans produced.
Business Plans: They are about the same. The second one has more financial projections.
08/31/2024 Update
I registered the business; let's go Prio LLC. I met with the city of Bloomington Department of Economic and Sustainable Development about the necessary licenses and permits(*it turns out there aren't any required). I worked with a chemist through Fiverr and finished the development and commercial batch sheet of the formula for one fruit punch flavor.
My next step is to take the commercial batch sheet to a co-packer and get some cans made. Stay tuned for progress!
